Parents Association presentations

in association with the Ardfield-Rathbarry Community initiative- 'Light up The Parish'. The children hung their Christmas wishes on the tree and performed songs and a poem.

Children from 3rd - 6th classes did a letter exchange with another West Cork Primary School. They also wrote letters to a 92 year old lady who composed her own poem for the senior classroom.

Our library corner is a great place for the children to read.

The Senior room pupils of Rathbarry N.S. played brilliantly at a festive musical evening held at ‘Ceol sa Chaisleán’ in Castlefreke Castle on Tuesday, December 10th 2019.

Sixth class pupils enjoyed songwriting workshops based on our local area with singer/songwriter, John Spillane.

Science week was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Junior classes investigated materials and their properties as well as doing a variety of experiments. Senior classes investigated magnets and created their own magnets.

Children enjoyed cycling to school during the fine weather.
