Jewellery Making

What wonderful workshops we had when local jewellery maker and artist Kathleen Holland came to visit. Children from Junior Infants to Sixth Class were all inspired to make jewellery from recycled bicycle tyres - each one creating very on trend cuffs along with some headbands. Even one lucky dad was thought of on his birthday. We spent our time cutting shapes, hammering snap fasteners and designing our own creations. The children were so happy with their shell necklaces and their new badges.
