WEEE Ireland Schools Battery Challenge 2025-2026

The WEEE Ireland Schools Battery Recycling Challenge (2025-2026) continues at our school. WEEE need your batteries. There are so many positives to recycling waste batteries – protecting our environment, becoming more sustainable as a school, and supporting LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice. We will also be in with a chance to win a €2000 sports equipment voucher for our school. We now have 5 x 5KG boxes full – thank you to all our families who have sent in their waste batteries. We have another 5 to fill at least! Please continue to ask friends, neighbours and grandparents to donate their old batteries which can be dropped directly into school or given to one of our pupils &/ parents.
