World Book Day

Thank you very much to local author Bríd Reilly White for visiting our school today. What a special afternoon we had - with the whole school enjoying this World Book Day reading of Bríd’s very sweet ‘semi-autobiographical’ story entitled:

‘The Teacher Who Barked at the Dog’.

The children loved the humorous tale of Bouncer the dog and the truth behind the fiction!

A must have for any animal lover…the children shared their love of reading & writing with Bríd along with asking some very interesting questions. Well done all
